At Owler Brook we offer a range of extended services and activities during the day and outside of the normal school day to help meet the needs of our children, their parents and the local community.
After School Clubs: Give children access to a variety of activities that will give them the opportunity to keep fit and healthy, acquire new skills, build on what they learn during the school day and have fun.
Breakfast Club: We offer a childcare breakfast service for children and families from 8.00am each morning. This offers a cheap and nutritious start to the day for 20p per day. Every child at Owler Brook is entitled to our free breakfast which is served in the dining room from 8.15. There is a choice of cereals, toast, milk and juices – all of which is free to Owler Brook pupils. Parents can purchase breakfast and hot drinks.
Family Reading Mornings: Parents are welcome to come into school and read with their children in their classroom every morning.
Family Learning: We provide access to many different courses and sessions for parents and carers. The courses are held in a variety of community, local venues and range from information about healthy eating and nutrition or advice on managing finances to improving your Maths and English skills.
Holiday Clubs: Our Learning Mentors run holiday clubs during every holiday. Children can come along to try activities within school and take day trips to a variety of venues.
